Directions to the Symposium:

There are three ways to get to the Symposium at UCSF: by subway, by car, and by taxi.

Getting to the Symposium by Subway:

The best way to get to the symposium is to use the Muni Metro subway trains that you can board right next to the Hyatt Hotel, and directions via Muni Metro are given here in acrobat format

Getting to the Symposium by Car:

To get to the symposium by car, you will drive to the UCSF campus on Parnassus Ave., park in the UCSF public parking garage, and then take the parking garage elevator up to the top “I” level of the Millberry Union, as described in Step 4) above. Then just continue with the directions given above in “Getting to the Symposium by Subway” after Step 4).

Driving to UCSF:

From the Hyatt Hotel: These directions given by Mapquest are good ones to follow.

From other parts of tbe Bay Area: These directions are from the UCSF website.

Getting to the Symposium by Taxi Ride:

A Taxi ride to UCSF is probably the easiest, but also the most expensive. To get to the symposium by taxi, tell the driver to take you to the Medical Sciences building at UCSF at 513 Parnassus Ave. You should be dropped off right in from the entrance to the Medical Sciences building. Then just continue with the directions given above in “Getting to the Symposium by Subway” after Step 6).
